Huawei brought the Pura 90s Pro Max and its smaller Pura 90s Pro sibling to the world stage in Kuala Lumpur, led by a 200 MP 1/1.28-inch telephoto, a variable-aperture 50 MP main camera, 100 W wired charging and 5G. EMUI 16 still comes without preloaded Google services – but AppGallery now guides their install, so the caveat that really remains is banking apps that insist on Play Integrity.

Huawei just invented a new kind of foldable. The Pura X Max unfolds into a wide, 1.4:1 7.7-inch tablet instead of the near-square screen of an ordinary fold, pairs a 10-stop variable-aperture 50 MP camera with a 3.5× periscope, and runs HarmonyOS NEXT. But it stays behind China's borders, with no Android apps and no global release.
